Horror movies. My house is covered in them with posters, memorabilia, and shelves full of various DVDs and Blu-Rays from every sub-genre of horror. When I am not watching horror movies or shopping for horror items, I love to rock out at heavy metal concerts, sample various types of alcohol, write my novels, report the weather & track hurricanes for my other side project: KH Weather, and most importantly, spend time with my husband & two children.
Check out my personal website devoted to horror, The Horror Lounge.
How Did I Get Into Horror?
I got into horror movies at a very young age because of my father. The reason I got into horror movies after that would be because I liked being scared, the jumps, the creepy masks, and the blood too. I also am enticed by the psychological point of view of horror movies. After my father (RIP) scared me at the age of 2yrs old with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I have always been drawn to the macabre form of life.
Why Horror Movies?
While currently a student in psychological behavior, horror movies are the best to analyze, and some horror movies are just interesting to watch because I enjoy the suspense, also have a weird obsession with death since I was nine years old. Personally too, I believe that most of the paranormal side in most horror movies exist.
